Today, my little girl is not feeling very well. She has a nasty cold with bad cough and runny nose. So, I'm working from home today. It's strange, the emotions a mother goes through when her child is sick. I feel so sorry for my little midget, because she can't be her usual chipper self. Instead, she's miserable and it hurts my heart to have to witness it. I'm just doing everything I can to make sure that she is feeling better soon. Any parents out there have any suggestions for home remedies, or ways of making her more comfortable? If so, let me know.

"A man is sometimes lost in the dust of his own raising."--David Ruggles
'A man is sometimes lost in the dust of his own raising'...hmmm.... I think this is a very interesting and true statement.
Most times, we are too busy trying to blame others for the misfortunes that are taking place in our lives. We pass blame, sometimes, so much so, that we don't see our own hands in the makings of our problems. We almost never, at least not at first glance, think of what we might have done to bring about our current state of dis-ease.
It's much easier to blame others, because then we don't have to look at ourselves, acknowledge our personal issues and deal with them. Because then, we don't have to step out of our comfort zones and admit that something might be wrong with us... and needs to be fixed.
We can never become better as a people, if each of us does not strive, daily, to better ourselves. So, how then, do we face the devils within us and begin to overcome our personal defects and set-backs???
Well, the first step to fixing a thing is to admit that it's broke.
